Newtown is a scenic “small town” located in Fairfield County in southwestern Connecticut. It covers 60.38 square miles making it the fifth largest town, area-wise, in the state. Newtown is comprised of the Borough, Sandy Hook, Hawleyville, Botsford and Dodgingtown “neighborhoods”. Newtown, Connecticut is home to just over 26,000 residents. This family friendly community offers agreat deal of programs for its residents and there are numerous parks and fields offering playgrounds, swimming, tennis, softball, baseball, volleyball, lacrosse, soccer, as well as a nature center and trails.
