Chappaqua NY is a hamlet of New Castle, located in Northern Westchester County, only 31 miles north of midtown Manhattan.  Chappaqua has a population of 9,468 people, covering an area of 25.5 square miles.  Chappaqua is a beautiful village, highlighted by the Saw Mill River and Roaring Brook both of which run through it.  Chappaqua is well known as the home of former President Bill Clinton and Senator Hillary Clinton, lending to its reputation as a sophisticated, affluent community with a great deal to offer.  It is a wonderful place for families, offering both privacy, with over 1/3 of Chappaqua's lands either undeveloped or dedicated to open space, as well as an abundant array of recreational activities, with over 90 activities sponsored by the recreation commission alone.  Chappaqua's schools include 3 elementary, 2 middle and one high school.  They are ranked amongst the best in the country.  The excellent school district, parks and recreation department and the relatively convenient 43 minute express commute to NYC have all contributed to Chappaqua's reputation as a most desirable suburb.
